Synthesis of some Mannich Base, Evaluating their Biological Activity, and Studying their Effect on DNA through Binding.

Abstract

This article is concerned with the preparation of indole derivatives, including compound (1) KI6, compound (21) KI4, compound (20), compound (8) KI2 and compound (24) KI1, where all these compounds were identified through infrared and proton NMR. I n this research, the study appeared different biological activity of these compounds against gram-positive, gram-negative bacteria and fungals was studied, in addition to studying the effect of these compounds on the polymer DNA.
