Abstract

To serve patients well, a sufficient number of personnel is needed according to needs. Many tasks performed by medical record officers will affect the amount and results of work that can be completed by each officer. on the other hand, the patients demand shorter waiting time and allowed zero mistake especially when it caused them to wait longer to meet the doctor. The method used in this research is descriptive observational research through a qualitative approach to analyze and describe conditions or phenomena that occur directly in the field. This study tries to provide an overview of the performance of outpatient registration officers in 2021. There are 3 data collection techniques used by researchers, namely observation techniques, interview techniques, and literature studies. From observations during observations made by researchers, 3 factors that become obstacles at the registration counter, namely due to lack of human resources at the registration counter, unstable internet connection, and misfile.
