Abstract

Silver nanoparticles have been used in many biomedical applications and have recently received significant interest for their use in anti-cancer medicine. The current research deals with the preparation of silver nanoparticles from the aqueous extract of C. murals leaves, which is a safe green source for preparing to reduce silver nitrate into silver nanoparticles. This confirms the stability of the particles, and the shape of the particles was spherical as it appeared under the scanning microscope, and its activity was tested against the cancerous line of the skin and gave the highest inhibition rate at the concentration of 400µg/ml and the vegetative prepared nanoparticles, which confirms its effective anti-cancer effect. This study provides experimental evidence that silver being an Intervention in dermatological treatments also has a better effect when it is nanoparticles.
